Local ethical intimates label Nisa wears its values openly and genuinely - both a brand and a social enterprise.

Providing employment for women with refugee backgrounds and talented sewing skills, Nisa offers high-quality and locally made underwear, socks, loungewear and swimwear, with sizing up to a 4XL.

Wellington-based Elisha Watson founded the brand in 2017, having worked previously as a lawyer. Below, she shares a few of her favourite recent purchases...

Indigo + Iris new lipstick range 

Indigo + Iris started out as a social enterprise making mascara, so when they branched into lipsticks I had to try it out! Nisa is doing a collaboration with the brand for Valentine's Day, so there was a double reason to get amongst it. ‍

Wolf & Moon earrings‍

I say "Wolf & Moon are my favourite jewellers in London" as if I am intimately acquainted with many London jewellers, but what I really mean is that they're just my favourites of all time. I get so many compliments wearing them.‍

Non-slip mats 

I FINALLY bought some non-slip carpet underlays recently. A terribly boring purchase, but it makes me feel like a proper responsible adult which is nice.

Dorsu jumpsuit 

I wear this jumpsuit to every vaguely flash hipster-ish event, and it always goes down a treat (though of course jumpsuits are always annoying to get in and out of in the loo).‍

Secondhand Icebreaker jackets

I've started buying quite a few from op-shops and Trade Me - they're so cosy, and great for winter runs.
