Ensemble: a group of items viewed as a whole rather than individually, and a set of clothes chosen to harmonise when worn together.
Ensemble is for people of purpose who want to read about world issues as much as they do beautiful, well-made clothing.
Launched in August 2020, the online magazine is the go-to for impartial editorial, social commentary and inclusive style; supporting the local fashion and creative industries through change and tempering evocative imagery with a commercial realism.
Editorial director Zoe Walker Ahwa is the former editor of Fashion Quarterly and Simply You. She previously worked as associate editor of the Herald’s Viva magazine and deputy editor of NEXT.
Publisher and partnerships director Rebecca Wadey has 20+ years experience in fashion, wellness and beauty, having worked with companies including Kate Sylvester, Metro magazine, Viva, Esteé Lauder and Bobbi Brown.
We are supported by an incredible ensemble cast of photographers, writers and creatives.
Our Ensemble membership program allows people to financially support the work we do, with exclusive benefits, discounts and access to local designers. Find out more here.
