Exploring the inspiration and tastes of Aotearoa

Content created in partnership with Bombay Sapphire

There’s no better place to be inspired than our very own backyard, Aotearoa. As summer approaches and we embark on long days and balmy nights, we gather together to share experiences, make memories where joy is cemented.

WIN - click here to find out how you can win a trip for two to Queenstown to experience BOMBAY SAPPHIRE cocktails inspired by the world around us.

Bombay Sapphire is inviting Kiwis to see the world differently through a new campaign called ‘Saw This Made This’ where we take inspiration from the world around us to stir our creativity through gin cocktails. From the sparkling blue oceans, lakes and skies engulfing our summers to the sound of bird call, abundance of red pōhutakawa flowers and sublime cliff and rock faces of nature to festival gatherings where strangers become friends. These are the tastes of Aotearoa.

We’ve gathered an ensemble of people to explain how nature inspires them and have invited them to take this inspiration and make their own Bombay Sapphire gin cocktail perfect for sharing with friends and family this summer.

“They say nature knows best and every time I get out in nature - whether that's taking time to lie outside and just watch the clouds go by or feel the sand between my toes - I'm reminded of its power. Life is busy and we all have a tendency to just go go go all the time so I try to ground myself by taking a deep breath and catching as many sunsets as I can, preferably from a scenic spot and with a cold gin cocktail in hand.”

“Summer, blue skies, sparkling blue ocean on the horizon and my children happily playing on the lawn while I enjoy a G&T on a lazy hazy long day of summer holidays. It's the perfect marker of off-duty family time for me.”
