Held annually at Point Chevalier’s Coyle Park, the Ending HIV Big Gay Out is Auckland’s biggest rainbow community event and a key part of the Auckland Pride Festival. This year saw performances from Paige, Chelsea Jade, Half Queen, House of Coven and more, as well as a surprise appearance by icon Michelle Visage - in town to film the new local series of Drag Race Down Under, with BFF RuPaul.

Big Gay Out is also an afternoon that encourages self-expression in its purest form, including through dressing up and having fun. Photographer Jack Milner-George went along to capture some of the looks.
