Reaching for the rosé is a sure sign that summer is on its way, and fun is guaranteed if it’s a deliciously different bottle of Babydoll Rosé. With summer so close you can almost taste it, here’s to sunny days free of Covid restriction and evenings full of ice-beaded glasses of wine with your mates.

Babydoll Wines get its name from the adorable Babydoll sheep that double as groundskeepers in its vineyards. The diminutive breed, famous for their small stature as much as for their smiley, teddy bear-like faces, are too short to reach the grapes but are just the right size to tidy up between and under the vines. While these cuties are working hard to earn their keep, rest assured that no sheep (or any other animals) were harmed in the making of your bottle of Babydoll as the wine is all vegan-friendly. The flock is just one (very cute) way that Babydoll likes to do things a bit differently.

Seeing things differently inspired Babydoll to make wine for unique people; crafting a delicious collection of wines to be enjoyed at any occasion. All the important bases are covered- sauvignon blanc, rosé, pinot gris, chardonnay, pinot noir and sparkling blush.

In keeping with the celebratory vibe, nothing says joyous positivity quite like Splore. Splore is the highlight of the Babydoll social calendar and is a great opportunity for Babydoll to shake off the vine leaves and hit the dancefloor.

Babydoll has been the sole wine sponsor at Splore for the last four years and is fizzed to be back for 2023 after a pandemic related hiatus in 2022. And with Splore’s cancellation earlier this year, there’s surely a year’s worth of repressed excitement sitting in the back of the cupboard alongside all the feathered and colourful outfits, just waiting to bust out into the sunshine!

Each year Babydoll’s winemaker Natalie Christensen hosts cocktail making sessions across the Friday and Saturday at Splore, using three of the brand’s wines to create fun, deliciously different cocktails. Sadly, the sheep will not be there, but you’ll be having such an epic time with the lovely Nat that we guarantee you won’t even miss them.

Before you start looking into your flat’s lease to see if there is any wiggle room on miniature sheep in the house, make sure you enter to win this flocking amazing prize:
